Meet our dedicated team at Manning Equine Vet Services.
With a lifelong passion for horses, Kelly brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role at Manning Equine. She grew up competing in hunter/jumpers and developed a special interest in bringing along young horses—an early foundation that sparked a career spanning multiple facets of the equine industry. Over the years, Kelly has worked as a coach, trainer, barn manager, and served as the editor of a leading equine health and wellness magazine. These diverse roles have given her a broad, informed perspective on the industry, which she now applies to keeping Manning Equine running smoothly behind the scenes.
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys line dancing, gardening, baking, and hiking with her King Shepherd.
With a Bachelor of Science in Equine Studies and a lifelong dedication to horses, Steph brings both knowledge and passion to her role as Farm Manager. A former member of the 2003 Young Rider Dressage Team, she has been immersed in the equestrian world from a young age and now applies that experience to ensure every horse under her care receives the highest standard of attention—including Belle, a beloved Irish Draft mare that she looks after. Beyond the barn, Steph enjoys reading and exploring new films and television series. She shares her home with two spirited cats, Ivy and T-Swizzle, whose personalities keep life lively.
A die-hard Swiftie, Steph’s appreciation for Taylor Swift is well known, often providing a lighthearted soundtrack to her time in the stables.
Sitting astride a horse before she could walk, Berit’s love of horses drove her to many avenues of horsemanship before focusing on the hunter/jumper discipline. Berit pursued her passion for horses into Sheridan College where she studied to be a veterinary technician, earning her certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2014. Berit works closely with our veterinarians on the road and on in-clinic procedures.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Berit extends her commitment to emergency care as a licensed firefighter with the Town of Erin Fire and Emergency Services, a role she has held since 2022. Whether responding to calls or caring for animals, Berit brings the same passion, courage, and compassion to every life she helps protect.
Alyssa is a skilled Veterinary Technician whose passion for animals began long before her studies at Seneca College. Through her education and hands-on experience, she has developed strong technical skills and a calm, caring presence that make her an asset in every aspect of patient care
Outside the clinic, Alyssa is always on the move—either riding horses, playing hockey, or exploring trails with her dog Phoebe. And when she’s not on the ground, she’s reaching new heights: she’s currently training to earn her pilot’s license!
Emily is one of the friendly faces behind our office operations, drawing on her Veterinary Technician education from Georgian College to support both clients and the veterinary team.
When she's not working at the front desk, Emily is a devoted mother of two daughters and an avid animal lover. She enjoys spending time riding her horse, Fitz, and walking her dog, Lexi. A dedicated coffee enthusiast, she approaches each day with energy and enthusiasm.
Rylee brings a unique blend of business savvy and animal expertise to her roles both in the barn and on the road as a technician. With a background in Business Administration and Project Management from the University of Toronto, she previously managed the front lines of a busy veterinary clinic before transitioning to hands-on patient care.
Her days are now split between caring for clients in the clinic and working with Nelson, her young horse just beginning his journey under saddle. When she’s not in the barn, you’ll likely find Rylee carving up ski hills or coaching the next generation of ski racers. She also drives Clydesdales!
A graduate of the Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management (BBRM) program in Equine Management, Georgia combines hands-on know-how with a solid academic foundation in horse care. Her passion for horsemanship was recognized at the 2023 OCEA Finals, where she proudly earned the Horsemanship Award—proof of her attention to detail and genuine love for horses.
Outside of work Georgia’s artistic side shines through in her photography and painting, often capturing the quiet beauty of stable life and the horses she adores, including her own horse Dax (affectionately known as “Snax”).
Kianna is a dedicated barn staff member and veterinary assistant with a lifelong passion for horses. Whether she’s caring for animals or supporting the team, she always brings a positive attitude and a smile to everything she does.
Outside of work, Kianna is a proud and devoted aunt to two wonderful nieces who keep her inspired every day.
